A word about Copyright.

Being conscious of the value of intellectual property through my long association with computer software and commercial photography, we intend the following:
It is the policy of this web community to be in compliance with  federal copyright law. All of the content of this site is copyright by J London unless otherwise attributed.

It is our intention to always credit the owners of the material that we use, and to obtain their permission in writing before using it. Any exceptions to this are for material that we sincerely believe to be in the public domain.

If you find your material on this site without your express permission please contact the webmaster and it will be removed immediately.

A word about content.

While the webmaster has, on occasion, gawked at a picture of a pretty woman, and has uttered a word or two that would distress his mother (not to mention 'she who strikes fear'); but  it is our intention that this site remain family friendly as we honor our veterans and have a little fun. If you would say it or show it to your ten year old daughter it passes the test. We have 'class' members and guests; this won't be a problem!

We have a backlog of pictures we can't use. 
 
Our policy is to never publish any pictures or text without first getting permission from the owner or publisher unless we have reason to  believe it to be in the public domain. We always assume the material that we find on the internet is protected by copyright. Private use by anyone is never a problem, but we expect other webmasters to show the same respect for intellectual property and adherence to copyright law. It is not the obligation of the owner to find his/her property and then seek protection for it, but rather for the publisher to protect it in the first place. Names and e-mail addresses of owners will be provided upon request.
